Paint-Your-Own Pottery Reservations
In response to Covid-19, reservations are now required. Below you will find the newly adopted policies and procedures for the health and safety of both customers and Mad Potter Employee's.
1: Five tables are available for reservations with varied capacities. We kindly request that you reserve the table size best suited for your group. However, we realize that a group of 3 may only have access to a table that seats 6 or 8, depending on availability.
2: Table capacity limits will be strictly enforced. All bodies count, regardless of age.
3: Due to cleaning requirements and demand, groups will have a 2 hour paint limit.
4: We have allotted 30 minutes between painting sessions to properly sanitize tables, brushes, etc.
5: A $5 reservation fee is required for all reservations. This fee is deducted from the total cost spent on ceramics, which is paid at the end of the painting session.
6: Pieces not completed within the 2 hour time slot can be completed at a later date. Unfinished pieces will be packaged and sent home with you. You may return at your convenience to finish your piece. A table reservation will be required for your return visit ($5 fee waived, you reserve directly through our staff). Unfinished, larger pieces may remain in the studio and the pieces that meet this requirement have been determined.
7: If you need to complete a piece "that's in the works", glaze pottery completed on the wheel (such as the ice cream bowl class), etc, please email us at and we will book your appointment. A table that seats up to 4 has been designated for this purpose and can be reserved for the time slots listed below.
8: Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance.
